Some my ask why I fancy the idea of having a blog . Well I say, why not? Why hide a brilliant mind like this?
"What is she going to write about?" you may ask. What won`t I write about? Some days I might write about school, some days politics, and some days, my secret love life. I was kidding about that last part. The life of an average ( actually I`m not that average) eleven-year-old is actually quite exciting, though people don`t usually realize it. What with angry sixth grade teachers, puberty, and people freaking out about secret crushes, my life is actually pretty exciting.
Why "The Abyss"? Well, I must confess, it actually isn`t that original. It was actually my dad`s idea. Someday I hope I can be as creative as he. ( thank you Mother for the grammar check) It was my thinking that got his creative vibes going though. While I was talking to myself, I said, " I want something deep." so my dad said, "Abysses are deep. Why don`t you call it that?". That`s when it hit me. "The Abyss". Then Rachel, the other clever one, said, "It`s deep, but not profound.". They`re really helpful.
Really, I`m not really sure how well this is going to work. I`m hoping to post a new post every week, but quite frankly, I doubt that is going to happen. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and learning about my crazy life ( in my own words). You know, some day, this is going to be put into a book, and the whole world will love it. Just you wait.
